The Porsche Track Experience Manager is responsible for the successful management and growth of the experiential business unit within the Marketing department at Porsche Cars North America. The role oversees the Porsche Driving Center platform that operates the Porsche Track Experience in Birmingham, Alabama as well as off-site activity associated with the program and a second Driving Center location on the west coast to open in 2026.
The position will drive Porsche passion and growth within the company to meet Porsche’s strategic goal of programs that contribute to its iconic brand heritage. The role is charged with managing an on-going business (P/L accountability), marketing and logistic operations for dynamic track programs and customer experiences while ensuring financial stability and prosperity. Key responsibilities include budget management, financial controls, adherence to general risk and compliance guidelines, procurement sourcing of vendors, fleet management, marketing and communications management including website readiness, and PR planning. The Manager will be responsible for updating and reporting on progress to an internal committee of Executives within PCNA.
The Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining partnerships with the tracks, key business partners and existing/potential brand sponsors to leverage opportunities and find operating efficiencies while also aligning within the brand fit/tone.
This position is accountable for delivering Porsche brand standards and long-term strategic growth of the platform while working with key vendors. Key vendors to the program are the track(s), drive agency partner, hotel(s), food service vendor(s), website and exhibition agency. It is crucial that the Manager builds positive rapport and sets the expectation of objectives/targets with partners to deliver a program that can generate a positive business result, awareness, and ultimately drive new business/sales for the company.
The position must establish and maintain a high standard for executing consistently top-quality, memorable customer experiences and be consistent with Porsche brand values.
Roles & responsibilities
Project/Program Management:
Set timelines, milestones and KPI’s for successful programs, including new business
Communicate progress to PCNA executives in a documented format
Follow all PCNA directives for sourcing, legal and compliance
Explores and identifies strategic growth opportunities and sets benchmarks
Creates the required business cases to pursue initiatives
Oversee the processing of all invoices, purchase requests, purchase orders and budget tracking - creates and tracks requisite RFAs to initiate projects
Ensures consistently high level of customer satisfaction
Liaise with PAG on best practice examples that can be applied to improve the Porsche Track Experience
Vendor/Partner Management:
Directs and inspires key vendor partner teams to develop and maintain productive and cohesive work environments
Contract execution, management and deliverables for all operating partners
Ensure readiness of drive agency with trained staff for all necessary and approved roles
Work with the track(s) to ensure PCNA has access to key dates to successfully operate the track experience to deliver business objectives
Seek to leverage internal resources for build-out and design of Porsche branded spaces on the track
Work with Procurement to ensure that proper triple bids and PR/PO’s are generated according to PCNA rules and directives
Proper onboarding of new vendors
Secure and manage key operating vendors that support operations; includes but is not limited to drive, fixed operations, hotel, and food & beverage needs.
Work with PCNA’s contracted website vendor to ensure proper business/resource management, financial reporting and consumer-facing marketing content is up and running
Finance/Accounting/Tax/Treasury:
Manages and operates a $12MM+ program budget to meet key financial targets, revenue and marketing spend, as defined by Porsche Cars N.A.
Work with internal PCNA finance team to establish budget orders and amounts
Maintain solid understanding of the budget (fixed, marketing, COS) at all times
Verify and submit vendor payments through the PCNA Zycus platform for payment
Accrue expenses as needed for monthly and year-end financial alignment
Work with internal PCNA tax and treasury departments to ensure compliance with all laws
Operations:
Ensure the correct fleet is ordered and tracked, both for operations and retirements
Follow all fleet protocols for workshop services, warranty and operating standards
Document and audit all general risk and compliance areas of the business/operations
Ensure proper insurance is in place
Review all customer facing communications and documents with PCNA legally in advance
Design, develop and build out the hospitality environments for the PDC working with the Experiential team at PCNA
Marketing:
Develop a data-driven and innovative integrated Go-To-Market strategy designed to drive awareness and sales revenue
Work in alignment with the PCNA Marketing Communications team and CRM team to best leverage national efforts and customer/prospect data
Monitor and report on key KPIs
Manage all social media content including social media content calendar, monitor social media engagements and provide reporting on analytics / performance
Ensure that the tone in all social channels is representative of the Porsche brand in line with national campaign objectives
Effectively monitor social channels including third party sites for feedback/reviews and flag negative chatter
Central point of contact for community involvement in coordination with PCNA
Manage collateral and materials
Support Public Relations inquiries by working internally with the PR team to boost media exposure and coverage
Supervise and maintain porschedriving.com content to market new programs and refresh relevant copy
Manage the coordination and organization of photo and video assets
Provide for reporting and tracking of data on the customer’s experience and relevant data to continue to analyze the program and market accordingly
Maximize creative/content cross-channels including internal assets
Route creative/content through the proper channels for approval
Ensure proper use of Porsche CI guidelines in conjunction with all national, corporate and PAG standards for seamless communications through multiple channels
Work to identify local grass roots opportunities
