Tasks
With your internship in project management at Porsche IT, you will gain insights into the working environment of a modern and dynamic IT department. You will have the opportunity to set individual priorities during the internship (depending on your field of study and interests) and will support us with the following projects and activities, for example:
Assistance in managing IT projects with a focus on logistics and vehicle production
Support in the implementation of projects in the area of IT application development
Support of projects that encompass digital transformation for management, human resources, and the IT departments
Participation in the further development of test systems in Java in the context of IT applications for innovative Porsche production and efficient logistics
Support in projects related to materials management, order and production control, as well as time management and personnel planning systems
Participation in the expansion of the Porsche logistics system, e.g., within the framework of project and process management
Support of application and test management
Support of IT projects in (vehicle) development
Assistance in the implementation of projects in the area of mobility services and concepts
Requirements
Degree in (business) informatics, (business) engineering with a focus on business informatics, Business Administration with a focus on Business Informatics or a comparable degree
At least 3 semesters of academic experience
Independent and structured working style
Teamwork and communication skills
Good English skills
Desire to accompany Porsche into the digital future
Depending on the area of responsibility, the following qualifications are also ideal:
Knowledge of project planning and management
Knowledge of logistics processes
Good MS Office and SAP skills
Enjoyment of programming and developing new digital solutions
Initial experience in Java software development (Spring Boot) as well as web (Angular/React) and data management (Oracle DB and DS)
Knowledge of JIRA
Enjoyment of working in agile teams
Strong affinity for software technologies
