Advising and supporting clients in the organization and management of complex grid expansion projects in the energy sector
Structuring and managing project phases as well as supporting the development and implementation of efficient project management methods
Project support with a focus on specific PMO activities. We are primarily looking for support in the following areas, depending on your individual profile:
Project management: e.g., support in the targeted and efficient management of project progress with regard to scope, costs, time, and quality; preparation of target-actual analyses, development and further development of transparent reporting for different project stakeholders and levels
Scheduling: e.g., updating the schedule in project management tools, supporting the identification and documentation of dependencies between different activities, creating simple reports and evaluations on project progress and schedules
Controlling: e.g. E.g., costs, budgets, and resources, assistance in the preparation of financial reports and analyses of the project's financial performance, monitoring project budgets and costs to identify and report deviations early on)
Quality management in the PMO context, including reporting
Document management, e.g., creation, maintenance, and structured filing of all project-relevant documents
Risk management, e.g., identification and documentation of potential risks in the project, assistance in assessing the impact and probabilities of identified risks, maintenance of the risk register and other documents related to risk management
Data collection and analysis to support the project team in the development and presentation of project results
Requirements
Initial experience, internships, or student traineeships in project management, consulting, or in the field of linear infrastructure projects
Knowledge of scheduling and risk management, and ideally initial experience with project management tools such as iTWO, Primavera P6, or Safran, is desirable.
Initial knowledge of controlling and document management processes in the PMO is a plus.
Analytical thinking and structured working methods
Project management certification (e.g., IPMA or PMI) is a plus
Very good subject-related and successful degree
Initial professional experience, internship, or student traineeship in consulting or a relevant field
Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking
Structured, professional, and customer-focused working methods
Interest in trends in the energy industry and new technologies
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
Openness and motivation to actively develop ideas and contribute to entrepreneurial development
Fluent written and spoken German and English
Basic willingness to travel and flexibility
