Advising clients on the organization and management of complex grid expansion projects
Coordination of complex project structures and responsibility for schedule and risk management as well as the implementation of proven PMO processes
Comprehensive project support in the core PMO areas: We are looking for support in one or more of the following areas:
Project management: e.g., support in the targeted and efficient management of project progress with regard to scope, costs, time, and quality; preparation of target-actual analyses, development and further development of transparent reporting for different project stakeholders and levels
Scheduling: e.g., development and monitoring of detailed schedules and ensuring dependencies between project phases
Controlling and budget monitoring: e.g., recording and processing project data such as costs, budgets, and resources; monitoring project budgets, preparing financial analyses and determining deviations, target-actual comparisons
Quality management and documentation: e.g., implementation of and compliance with quality standards and ensuring structured documentation
Document management: e.g., B. Creation, maintenance, and structured storage of all project-relevant documents
Risk management e.g. B. Detailed risk analyses and implementation of risk mitigation measures
Interface management and leadership of interdisciplinary teams: Coordination of cross-functional collaboration and leading the PMO team through all project phases
Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships and participation in specialist conferences to expand the business contact network
Requirements
Relevant professional experience in project management of infrastructure projects, ideally in the grid expansion or energy sector, and in-depth knowledge of PMO processes
In-depth knowledge of at least one or more PMO areas (scheduling, controlling, quality management, document management, risk management)
Experience in controlling and document management as well as in dealing with cost and resource planning
Experience in using common project management and controlling tools such as iTWO, Primavera P6, or Safran for effective project management and monitoring
Experience in using common GRC tools is desirable
Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to coordinate and motivate interdisciplinary teams
Project management certification (e.g. B. IMPA or PMI) desirable
Knowledge of process optimization and ensuring quality standards is a plus
Ability to advise clients in all phases of project planning and implementation, with a focus on the requirements and challenges of the PMO area
Very good, subject-related and successful university degree
At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting and/or in an energy or environmental area of an industrial company
Practical experience in project management, for example in the energy sector, including goal setting, personnel planning, task allocation, and successful project execution
Experience in leading teams as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
Very good analytical skills and a conceptually structured and customer-oriented approach
Entrepreneurial thinking and sales affinity, ideally with an existing network in the relevant field
Strong interest in current trends in the energy industry and new technologies
Open, team-oriented personality with the motivation to actively contribute ideas and contribute to the further development of the company
Fluent written and spoken German and English skills
Willingness to travel and flexibility
