Red Bull Powertrains is looking for a highly motivated, technically skilled individual to join our MGU & Sub-Assy Group a team at the cutting edge of innovation, where precision, performance, and teamwork are everything.
This is more than just a build role. This is your chance to own key technical processes in the assembly, service, and maintenance of MGU Stators and PU Sub-Assemblies, working alongside some of the brightest minds in F1.
Your Purpose:
As a vital part of the team, you’ll be the go-to expert for Stator and Sub-Assy operations — from coil winding and potting, through to testing and final assembly. You’ll take ownership, offer technical guidance, and help delegate tasks across the MGU Build Technician team. All while setting the benchmark for quality, conduct and commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Master Stator sub-assembly processes including winding, testing, and servicing.
- Prepare MGU Stators for delivery to the ICE-Assy department.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficient, high-precision builds.
- Assemble PU-related sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards.
- Lead on technical advice, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution.
- Operate specialist equipment and perform routine testing & maintenance.
- Champion continuous improvement and lead departmental quality initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture — and set the standard yourself.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven mechanical assembly competence and hands-on technical expertise.
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings & specifications.
- Competency in Microsoft Word/Excel for system inputs and reporting.
