Job Purpose
The role of a MS lineside parts delivery lead is to ensure the right part is delivered at the right time to the right place in the right quantity on the assembly line that they are assigned to and report to their team coordinator any issues that may arise.
Key Acountabilities
Communicate with Team coordinator and shipping about any stop shipments/repair activity/emergency schedule changes due to parts issues.
Monitor delivery locations around the assembly line to ensure parts are being delivered properly and work with assembly offline associates to handle any parts issues, As well as conduct COP(clean up, Organize, put away) checks around lot staging and lineside delivery locations
Hold pre-shift meetings to inform team of daily production targets and model changes that may occur as well as any company announcements that have been distributed.
Communicate with warehouse on lot delivery, short parts and any issues that arise.
Communicate out daily shift notes via email on production results for the assembly line, trailer/package/lot information, attendance and any issues that arise throughout the production day
Instruct a team of North Carolina Manufacturing and Contingent associates on daily task
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Highschool diploma/GED
Minimum of two years of logistics experience in a high production environment.
Strong written and verbal communication
Working Conditions
Primarily in a production area/sometimes in office environment
Must be able to support other projects as needed
Must be able to operate powered industrial vehicle equipment
Must be able to walk for long periods of time
Overtime expected based on department demands/responsibilties(Daily and weekends as needed based on production requirements)
