Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for providing information to support the Unit Manager in making decisions about production operations from a business perspective.
They must have a comprehensive understanding of the processes they oversee and be aware of the consequences of any changes to these processes.
Manage end-to-end processes for the business and act as a key liaison between the Business Analyst and the business within Honda's PS&P Business Unit.
Key Accountabilities
The SAP Team Manager is responsible for configuring and optimizing SAP SD modules to enhance sales and distribution processes while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
They oversee change requests to ensure solutions are comprehensive and aligned with end-to-end business processes.
The role includes managing incident and problem resolution, ensuring timely responses and effective communication across impacted regional teams.
Regular engagement with business stakeholders and performance monitoring are key to driving continuous process improvements. Coordinate with cross-functional support teams and manages escalations.
Support user training and assessments, maintain SOX audit compliance, and ensure documentation is complete and accessible.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or equivalent experience
8 to 12 years of IT/Accounting/Finance/Purchasing experience (Functional or Technical)
In-depth understanding of the in-scope Functional and Technical capabilities in SAP
Advanced knowledge of Honda business operations End to End within a given workstream
Advanced knowledge of the system processes and how these are linked in the system
Detailed knowledge of escalation procedures and criteria
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Meeting facilitation skills
