PARTS ASSISTANT
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Parts Assistant aid in the day-to-day running of our busy Parts department. Supporting a range of exciting projects – both new and exciting, the Parts Assistant will directly work alongside our Parts Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of operations within the department.
The role and responsibilities include:
Organisation of all components.
Stock control/monitoring.
Picking build kits for internal use.
Complete existing works orders.
Communicating with our Goods In/Out department for when engine parts arrive and depart.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
A confident communicator, especially amongst colleagues, internal departments and external suppliers.
Computer literate with strong MS Office skills and experience using stock control systems.
A collaborative problem-solver who builds trust-based relationships with both colleagues and external suppliers.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a similar environment and a familiarity with stock control would be beneficial, but not essential.
