Job Overview
Electric Drive System (PEDS) is a Team dedicated to the development of electric propulsion systems for Hybrid and BEV.
The Family Manager (Program Manager) is accountable for the overall Sub-System Level Program Management of the PEDS including leadership of Program Macro Timing, Budget control, TKO planning, TPC target, Change Management, Bulletin management and Program reporting.
The FM leads the cross-functional Sub System Product Team to ensure that all deliverables and targets defined in the approved initiative are met throughout the product development lifecycle — including Timing, Cost, Performance, TPC, Quality, etc. — in alignment with EDS team objectives.
The FM reports hierarchically to Global Chief Engineer and functionally to Family Manager Lead.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and Moderate the Sub System Product Team meeting with all Program Stakeholders. Oversee all aspects of the assigned program to ensure alignment with Cost, Timing, Quality and Performance objectives.
- Lead and/or Support PSPD governance activities including Management Reviews / Program Reviews / Program Status updates, in close cooperation with the Propulsion Systems Chief Engineer.
- Monitors Program financial status, “investments” (make parts), and TPC ensuring alignment to the approved budget, identify efficiency opportunities and implement trade-offs as necessary to meet business case targets.
- Chair the Change Review Board to manage change process (e.g. ECO, CN, OdM) ensuring alignment with design to cost solutions, value optimization and quality improvement goals.
- Lead as a moderator, high-level Management Meetings with key suppliers to address and resolve critical issues, ensuring decisions are made in a timely and effective manner.
- Responsible to ensure Product Readiness to support approved launches while defining appropriate timing milestones for the given project, including HW, SW, Controls and Calibration. In coordination with SSTM ensure Manufacturing and Plant readiness.
- Drive the preparation of business cases and responses to Product Bulletins in close collaboration with SSTMs.
Requirements
- Master degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical engineering preferable);
- 1 - 3 years experience in automotive field (focus in electrical or hybrid vehicles development preferable);
- Strong propensity for teamwork, supporting colleagues when needed and proactively.
- Good skills of synthesis, planning, organization and initiative. Strong skill in effective verbal and written communication.
- Excellent/advanced knowledge of written/spoken English is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of xHEV/BEV vehicle application.
- Deep knowledge of electric drive systems.
- Deep knowledge of PSDP standards and KPI.

- Salary range: from 37.000€ to 40.000 €, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
- Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
