We are growing our pool of talent for exciting new projects and are looking for recent Automotive and Mechanical Engineering Graduates. Come and join the team at Ilmor, working on projects spanning multiple racing and non-racing disciplines, including: F1, IndyCar, World Rally Car and Hybrid Automotive.You should be able to demonstrate:• Minimum degree education in a related Engineering Degree (i.e. Mechanical, Automotive or Electronics)• A Year in Industry engineering placement and/or relevant post graduate work experience• Strong understanding of engineering principles and different powertrain systems (including hybrid) or Electric propulsion and Electric Vehicle subsystemsWe are looking for someone who has had experience of or exposure to: • Powertrain design, manufacture, and assembly (Design)• 3D CAD and FEA stress analysis (Design)• Engine dynamometer and sub-system rig testing (Development)• High level of competence in planning and executing testing activities, analysing data and reporting findings in a clear and succinct manner (Development)Combined with this experience, we would like you to display:• Honesty and integrity• The ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of a team, even when under pressure• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Structured approach to work with the ability and flexibility to meet tight deadlines• The ability to generate new approaches and innovate ideas• A genuine desire and determination to deliver commitments• Good communication skills in verbal and written formatsBenefits:• Salary between £31,000 and £36,000 dependant on qualification and experience• Performance related bonus• 35 days standard annual leave• Generous non-contributory pension scheme • Company-wide team activity events• A private medical health scheme • Life assuranceWe are an out-of-town location with free on-site parking and easy walking access to shops, cafes and buses.Positions are full-time and permanent.To be considered, you must already have the right to work in the UK.
