We are looking for a talented and focused System Administrator to join our IT Team. The role is focused on the advanced technical support, optimization, and strategic evolution of our core IT infrastructure. You will be the go-to expert for resolving complex technical challenges, implementing new solutions, and ensuring the robust stability, security, and efficiency of our systems.
What you'll do
You will optimize system performance and resource utilization, ensuring high availability of IT services.
- Implement and manage virtualization platforms and, potentially, cloud infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network connectivity issues requiring specialized knowledge.
- Serve as a point of escalation for IT support teams handling challenging technical problems.
- Participate in and lead the technical aspects of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure expansions.
What you need
You will have 3-5 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles, preferably in a hybrid infrastructure environment.
- Expertise in administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and/or Linux operating systems.
- Strong command of networking protocols and infrastructure (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPN).
- Proven experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity in scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash).
- Solid understanding of IT security best practices and tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- A good team player & exceptional communication skill.
- Strong Problem Solving and critical thinking abilities.
