What you'll do
Responsibility for the purchase-to-pay process (P2P), including determining requirements, managing orders and checking invoices
Conducting tenders, negotiating conditions and awarding procurement positions
Ensuring timely deliveries, managing orders and delivery risk, clarifying invoice discrepancies and handling complaints
Maintenance and administration of purchasing data in SAP, SRM and other tools (e.g. material and supplier master data, negotiation results)
Monitor and enforce purchase order terms, ensuring compliance with contracts, legal requirements, and company policies
Building/maintaining supplier relationships in accordance with laws & AVL compliance guidelines
Collaboration with project teams and suppliers on optimising procurement processes and identifying process improvements with the aim to increase efficiency & reduce cost
Prepare periodic reports related to purchasing projects & present to stakeholders
What you need
Bachelor / Master degree in engineering, business or comparable (MBA)
Experience in procurement process software tools (SAP experience is an advantage)
Outgoing personality with good communication skills (teamwork is our core value)
2+ years of relevant experience
Negotiating skills, assertive communication style, solution-oriented approach
Initiative and commitment
Readiness for travel to supplier sites & HQ (up to 10% worktime annually)
Proficiency in English and German
