Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on MID SHIFT, 5pm-2am PH. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office when there are meaningful engagements such as trainings, townhalls and executive visits.
The Role
The Analytics Transformation Analyst will lead projects supporting the Future of Finance (FoF) initiative through the use of Analytics insights, Automation/Reporting solutions, and Data Engineering. You will play a pivotal role in driving innovation into Finance using emerging AI/ML technology and other tools such as Glean, PowerBI and Knime.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with strategic partners to build solutions to support the FoF initiative within Finance

Determine the appropriate solution and solution provider (based on feasibility, strategic partnership, value) by utilizing GM’s digital landscape

Develop proof of concepts and final solutions for select projects using a variety of analytics and automation technologies

Leverage design techniques to improve processes

Participate in key FoF initiatives such as FIN360 2.0, Onestream and Global Product Costing

Contribute to solution sustain activities as needed

Own and manage all assigned projects, including status and value reporting
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

Minimum 5+ years professional experience in Finance, Data Science, Engineering, IT or a related field

Strong technical background and demonstrated continual development of skills in new technologies

Experience working with GM automation and analytics technologies including Knime, Power BI, Databricks, Glean, Office tools, etc.

Proven ability to innovate in a product or service

Ability to work with the business on process re-engineering, requirements definition, process analysis and design, workflow analysis, and developing as-is and to-be business processes

Ability to take a strategic, transformational point of view on a process

Demonstrated experience working with GM IT on a project or program

Experience in process improvement methodologies
