About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Composites Technician to join our team in Grove. As a Composites Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacture of composite components and assemblies, working to tight deadlines and high standards of quality.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport or aerospace industry, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of composite materials and manufacturing techniques. You will be a team player, able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals, and will be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manufacture of composite components and assemblies using a variety of techniques, including laminating, bonding, and finishing
- Working to tight deadlines and high standards of quality, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications
- Collaborating with other teams, including design, engineering, and production, to ensure that components are manufactured correctly and to schedule
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures and protocols
- Continuously improving processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport or aerospace industry
- Good understanding of composite materials and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and high standards of quality
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
