About This Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Composites Technician to join our team in Grove. As a Composites Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacture of composite components and assemblies, working to precise tolerances and high standards of quality.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport or aerospace industry, and will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of composite materials and manufacturing techniques. You will be a team player, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture of composite components and assemblies to precise tolerances and high standards of quality
- Working with a variety of materials, including carbon fibre, glass fibre and hybrid materials
- Operating a range of equipment, including autoclaves, ovens, cutting machines and sanding machines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures
- Collaborating with other teams, including design, engineering and production
- Meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality products
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably within the motorsport or aerospace industry
- Good understanding of composite materials and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
- ONC or HNC in a relevant subject, such as materials science, engineering or a related field
