Position is responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers RESPONSIBILITIES: -Responsible for executing deliverables in support of the logistics organization's business objectives. - Provides support of one of the key areas within Logistics and / or Containers organization to ensure business objectives are met or exceeded in all areas including customer, quality, service, responsiveness, people, product and financial initiatives. - Communicates within the function as well as other functions, external affiliates, regulatory agencies. - Responsible for supporting relationship management with logistic suppliers and service providers - Influences others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches. - Identify problems, update or modify work methods that may be complex in the work area without the benefit of defined procedures. - Promote GM's values and makes customer-focused decisions. Removing Roadblocks & Resolving Issues/Complaints: Observes and steps up to remove roadblocks and resolve potential issues.
Additional Description
What'll do? Manage GMCC inventory in GMNA and IO plants to 20 countries in the region, follow up on shipments, review proper documentation is sent to destination and customer services. · Coordinates and plans activities to assure all the shipments are delivered on time based on cut off dates for exports or storage timing for import units at the ports. · Elaborates daily, weekly and monthly reports that measure the performance from operational stand point and notices to our dealers. · Route Monitoring to measure the performance from the suppliers´ s services. Develops deep awareness of the yard’s administrator, rail, truck and customs processes in order to identify any irregularity on supplier´s reports to deliver final trustable information. Knowledge: Export and imports customs knowledge for proper documentation. Customer service experience to meet the requirements of our internal customers in different countries. Proficient in English.
