Job Purpose
The Business Sr. Analyst position enables the organization’s transition to direct-to-customer sales and merchant-of-record operations by delivering secure, compliant, and customer-centric digital payment solutions that support a seamless buying experience.
This position requires extensive collaboration with various stakeholders in other business units and has the capability to build robust relationships across various departments and companies.
Key Accountabilities
Lead the elicitation and documentation of business and technical requirements for digital payment platforms and enterprise systems
Translate complex business needs into actionable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile and SAFe methodologies
Facilitate design workshops, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
Drive Agile Program Increment (PI) planning and retrospectives
Oversee application configuration, solution documentation, and third-party integration testing
Define and manage test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance tests to support Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Collaborate with development teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and promote high-quality code delivery
Conduct functional, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring traceability and alignment with business goals
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend technology solutions to enhance efficiency and customer experience
Maintain comprehensive project artifacts including meeting notes, decisions, issues, and blockers
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of relevant experience in business analysis and quality assurance roles
Strong knowledge of ecommerce and payment processing configuration
Demonstrated experience with point-of-sale configuration and integration
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior experience in a team environment and the ability to interface with all levels of management
Experience working with consumer-facing software products
Experience with payment gateways, fraud detection systems, or financial transaction platforms
Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and automated testing tools
Knowledge of enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or financial platforms
SQL and data analysis capabilities
