A key prerequisite for Porsche's success is efficient, goal- and results-oriented financial planning and management of the company, its organizational units, and processes. This entails responsibility for the development and optimization of future-oriented controlling processes, instruments, and systems to support management in its decision-making in dynamic environments.
Participation in measures to ensure financial balance is the focus of the controlling internship. Depending on the focus of your studies, the areas of responsibility include production and logistics controlling, investment and construction controlling, cost center and profit and loss accounting, digitalization and smart mobility controlling, group and sales controlling, or procurement controlling and final costing.
You will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the controlling area, support us with the following projects and activities:
Preparation and validation of monthly reports
Preparation of decision-making templates for management
Operational corporate planning and control, for example, preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Preparation of business analyses and reports
Implementation of project budget controlling and initiation of countermeasures
Management of interdisciplinary and international projects and profitability assessments, e.g., in the areas of digitalization and new business models
Development and further development of future-oriented controlling processes, methods, and performance metrics for business models in dynamic environments
Requirements
Degree in economics, business informatics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable degree program with a relevant focus
Ideally, knowledge of controlling instruments and cost and performance accounting
Confident use of MS Office, ideally knowledge of SAP and databases
Good Proficiency in English
Independent and structured working style
Enjoys working in a team
Strong automotive affinity
