In order to produce our sports cars in Zuffenhausen with the highest quality, efficiently, precisely, and on time for our demanding customers, flexible logistics with intelligent solutions are necessary. The logistics departments at the Zuffenhausen site are responsible for the entire process chain from suppliers to internal production customers and ensure a stable pulse of the factory.
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the focus of your studies, support us in various departments, for example, with the following projects and activities:
Participation in projects and support with project-related analyses in the logistics departments of body construction, paint shop, assembly for the 911, 718, and Taycan vehicle models, as well as modules (including Group supplier engines and axles)
Support in the conceptual design and optimization of inbound and in-house logistics processes, including with regard to personnel deployment, logistics costs, complexity reduction, layout planning, and occupational safety
Participation in the shop floor analysis of operational logistics and the development of optimization potential to stabilize in-house logistics processes Implementation of new logistics processes in operational departments
Production control and digitalization of control processes from order scheduling to vehicle completion
Requirements
Studies in industrial engineering, business administration, (technical) logistics, mechanical engineering, automation technology, computer science, or a comparable degree with a focus on materials management or logistics
Ideally, practical experience in logistics
Basic knowledge of SAP, AutoCAD, and Access is an advantage
Confident use of MS Office
Independent and structured working style
