In our department, you will work with us on cross-cutting topics across body systems. By consistently centralizing cross-cutting tasks, we leverage synergy potential for the entire main department. This includes both technical and business management tasks. You can choose your internship from a diverse range of tasks: from design checks and concept design for our latest models to procurement and resource management, testing management, and technical design. You will learn the importance of structural safety and how we integrate sustainability into our daily development work. Simply let us know your preferred area of ??responsibility in your application. Design Check - Body Verification You can participate in the construction of virtual and physical prototypes (CATIA V5 and Kisters 3D Viewer) and support the organization of assembly workshops to ensure the buildability of all body components. STRAK / Technical Design and Constructive Safety Work with us in technical design to develop CAD surfaces and translate the legendary Porsche styling into production-ready Strak designs. The assessment and presentation of Class A surfaces is one of our tasks; for this, we use virtual reality and physical models. Your responsibilities also include supporting model checks to verify legal requirements and internal guidelines and thus safeguard the design. Concept Design for Future Vehicle Projects You can participate in the comprehensive concept design/development/evaluation of future vehicle projects for the entire bodywork scope. You will learn all aspects of developing future vehicle projects – from assessing and implementing stakeholder needs as part of the technical architecture work to coordinating project management activities and implementing and managing the sustainability strategy for the entire bodywork. Awarding and Resource Management: We would be delighted if you would help us with a variety of coordination tasks in our collaboration with development partners. This could, for example, be in awarding development services for the latest vehicle models. Or you could support us in managing capacities and resources for the entire bodywork development at Porsche.
