Interior of the Future (Interior Concept/Comfort Systems/Staging) We bring interior design visions to reality and develop the physical interface between driver and vehicle. Our goals are ergonomics, functionality, and comfort, as well as the creation of a holistic interior experience through the interaction of various components and systems. You will support the team in areas such as creative concept development, the virtual design of concept ideas, and the construction of demonstrators and their testing. We welcome basic knowledge of the CAD software Catia V5 (or comparable programs) or experience in technical product design. Exterior Experience (including adaptive aerodynamics, bodyshell/lightweight construction, vehicle safety) We develop technical solutions, from structural design and the associated occupant protection to active aero components, always with a focus on the optimal balance between lightweight construction and cost. Incorporating your ideas and expertise into concept development is just as integral to our role as supporting project management. We would be pleased if you have basic knowledge of the CAD software Catia V5 or comparable programs. Holistic Sustainability You will become part of a dedicated team dedicated to exciting challenges in the field of sustainability – from materials to current and future-oriented recycling methods and circular economy systems to method development. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to contribute your ideas to the development of innovative sustainability concepts and build extensive expertise in the field of ecological sustainability. We would be pleased if you bring enthusiasm and basic knowledge in the field of sustainability. Digital and Virtual Function Development (Function/Modeling/Software) We work on software solutions for the control and networking of mechatronic components in the interior and exterior and develop new functions virtually. Potential tasks include the control of mechatronic components for concept structures, the representation of new functions using virtual reality, programmed evaluation of vehicle data, and the new and further development of modeled functions. We would be happy if you have basic knowledge of programming, systems modeling or systems engineering.
