Tasks
Design • Support in the design of new, innovative concepts and components, contributing our own ideas. • Independent implementation of concepts in the CATIA V5 CAD system within the development team. • Exchange with experienced development engineers and our partners in design, aerodynamics, testing, and production. • Creation of 2D and 3D design data for virtual and real-world vehicle validation.
Testing • Independent development and preparation of test setups on test benches and in the entire vehicle, from the Boxster to the 911 Turbo S, from the Macan BEV to the Cayenne GT. • Support of experienced test engineers and collaboration in validating all requirements within the framework of component and entire vehicle tests (e.g., wind tunnel). • Organization of modifications to prototype vehicles in coordination with the workshops, e.g., for wind tunnel measurements. • Analysis, evaluation, and documentation of the test results. • Organization for the realization of prototype parts.
Mechatronics (Electronics/Software) • Collaboration in the implementation Measurements on complex electrically driven systems, e.g. rear spoilers, tailgates, and new aerodynamic concepts. • Independent implementation of own projects in the Vector Toolchain (CANoe, CANape, ...) • Participation in electronics/software development for mechatronic systems in the vehicle
