Tasks
The Combustion & Hybrid Drive Systems department is responsible for the design and testing of hardware for boxer engines, V-engines, and transmissions, as well as the integration of the drivetrain into the vehicle. It is also responsible for the peripheral systems associated with combustion engines/hybrids, such as: B. Engine electronics (sensors, actuators, generator), cooling and thermal protection (components and control unit functions).
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the focus of your studies and interests, support us in the following areas:
Assistance in testing within the framework of mechanics and functional development
Participation in test setups as well as the evaluation and analysis of tests and experiments
Support in the systematic evaluation of measurement data from test vehicles (on the test bench and in the vehicle) using Matlab
Support in the area of ??design within the framework of component and system development
Participation in design issues between concept and series production for existing and new vehicle projects
Assistance in design project tasks in CAD (CATIA or CREO) and in design-supporting calculations for the creation of components, fixtures, and test setups, as well as the associated production drawings.
