We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Leader to lead our Non Destructive Testing (NDT) team and support our quality departments.

As part of our NDT team you are responsible for final inspection of our product and monitoring and ensuring quality according to aviation standard EN9100. You work closely with our customers, suppliers and production to deliver products that meet the strict requirements of the end user.
Activities include:
• Managing 4 NDT specialists.
• Work process and resource management
o Develop, manage, analyze KPIs and develop improvements;
o Prepare project plans and supervise improvement activities;
o Implementation and embedding of NDT/QC activities;
o First point of contact for and within the NDT department;
o Use of machines, materials and people;
o Coordinate detailed planning with QA and production manager;
o Evaluate, coordinate planning and resolve capacity shortages;
o Assist operators in checking equipment and troubleshooting;
o Revision and maintenance consultation.
• Employees and safety
o Safe commissioning and decommissioning of installations;
o Personnel planning, task allocation and guidance;
o Motivate employees, ensure task competence and develop through training plans;
o Conduct performance, assessment and job interviews;
o Handle personnel matters;
o Compliance with company and safety regulations;
o Participate in work meetings and comply with occupational health and safety, quality and company regulations.
• Audits
o Discussion partner for internal and external audits.
o Conduct internal audits within the entire production organization.
What do we expect from you?
• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level, preferably in the direction of life sciences, quality and process management, laboratory or technology;
• Management experience within a laboratory or production environment;
• You are a team player who can convince, motivate and inspire colleagues, management, suppliers and customers;
• You take initiative, you are continuously looking for improvements and you implement them;
• Practical, analytical, initiative and structured are terms that suit you;
• Substantive knowledge of EN9100, ISO17025, NEN 7777, LEAN or Six Sigma is an advantage;
• Experience in conducting internal and external audits;
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills.
• A certification and qualification in Nondestructive testing using ultrasonic examination for industry or aerospace, or willingness to obtain this.
