Together with the other sales coordinators, you support the technical-commercial customer advisors in the field, who maintain contacts with clients worldwide. They collect orders, you ensure follow-up and processing.
You coordinate by phone and email with the aircraft manufacturer and the parts industry, ask critical questions and dig deeper into what is really needed. You also consult internally with production, quality assurance, engineering, logistics and purchasing on a daily basis. Can we make it, do we have sufficient raw materials and capacity, when can it be ready? Can we already schedule transport? You also look at the financial side. For example: has the customer already paid his bills, or has he reached the limit of his credit?
Your specific tasks are:
• the complete process of order processing; from receiving to processing the order;
• monitoring delivery times;
• ensure optimal customer satisfaction in collaboration with field service partners;
• consultation with field service partners on customer relations and market developments;
Our products are so complex and the industry is so demanding that one typo or missed specification by us or the customer can cause the product to not meet the requirements. Given the customization that we provide, this can quickly cost a lot of money. Because we make many different products that are very similar, you must always be alert and work very accurately. However, this is absolutely not a purely administrative job. After all, you are also the face (or at least the voice) of Toray to the customer. This requires the talent to easily call or chat abroad and to remain friendly and relaxed. Despite the inevitable hectic nature of a position with so many contacts and processes. It is nice if you already have commercial experience, although we will of course train you extensively. What we also ask is:
• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;
• Education such as: sales manager, commercial employee or commercial economics;
• Strong in switching between various tasks, both administrative and communicative;
• Affinity with high-quality technology, particularly the aviation industry;
• Sufficient IT knowledge and skills (Windows, Office such as Word, Excel, ERP systems);
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written (French and German are a plus);
• Communicative and socially skilled.
This is a varied function where you continuously switch between administrative tasks with codes and numbers on the one hand, and personal contact with colleagues and customers worldwide on the other. Sometimes complicated, but it really gives a good feeling when you succeed in tightly coordinating all processes and bringing an order to a successful conclusion. You can count on extensive on-the-job training from your experienced and sympathetic team members.
What do we have to offer you?
At Toray Advanced Composites you will work in a pleasant and informal team of hard workers, within an innovative, dynamic and international working environment. The complexity of our products and the dynamics that go with the entire quality process, make the work varied and interesting. Employees are given responsibility and all the space for their own input, personal growth and development.
In addition, everyone can participate in the weekly bootcamp training sessions during working hours (!).
We supplement this with:
• A salary between €3,148 and €3,840 gross per month for a 40-hour working week;
• 185 hours of leave per year and an additional 156 ADV hours if you work full-time;
• Travel expenses if you live more than 6 km from Nijverdal;
• Opportunities for hybrid and flexible working;
• Participation in a lease bicycle scheme;
• We believe that a fit and vital employee is important, so we offer fresh fruit every day and you can participate in our weekly boot camp!
Are you as good and strong in quality as our products?
