THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a #2 Rally Raid Technician to join our growing Rally Raid team. This role will require supporting the #1 Technician in all build specifications and set ups to ensure the car is always prepared to the highest possible standards.
The role responsibilities include:
Building, set-up & commissioning of the current Ford Raptor T1+, as well as future developments.
Ensuring all components of the car are safety joined and meeting quality standards.
Assisting with fault diagnostics.
Supporting the #1 Technician in the upkeep, maintenance, set-up and running of all cars.
Working closely with Mechanics, Management, Engineers and supporting departments to build cars.
Engage with all Mechanics and other team members at all tests, events, and in the workshop to promote teamwork and effective communication.
Component part numbering and logging, to ensure accurate mileage records are kept up to date.
Maintain a professional and clean appearance of all cars and equipment in both the workshop and on events. Whilst also ensuring others are doing the same.
Develop ideas which will increase car performance, reliability, and crew efficiency.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
We are looking for a candidate with two+ years’ experience as either a #2 Rally/Rally Raid/Racing Technician, or Junior Technician looking to progress.
You should be educated to a technical level and have knowledge of the latest manufacturing techniques and materials is essential. A thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems is also required.
You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and be capable of delivering a high standard of performance and quality whilst working to strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
You should have good communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to all team members.
You should share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
