Summary: As required, manufacturing composite parts using predominantly pre-preg materials utilizing Industry Standard Lamination Techniques. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for finishing composite parts and assemblies.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities include the following:
- While using scissors, stir sticks, and razor blades, the Composites Technician may be responsible for molding carbon fiber material utilizing the bagging process to mold parts.
- Breaking Out / Demolding cured parts
- Responsible for utilizing hand tools, such as a handheld grinder, to shape/trim parts and molds to specifications
- Always maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Prepare Molds and pre-preg patterns for Production
- Lamination of Composites components following drawings and or Lay-Up manuals
- Preparing Laminated parts for Autoclave or Oven Curing utilizing vacuum bagging techniques
- Loading and unloading Autoclaves
- Adhering to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards
- Pro-Active in parts development and improvements
- Trimming / Finishing / Assembly of Composites Parts

Education/Experience:
- Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of operating basic hand tools, is required. Ability to work safely with Composite materials and other related chemicals.
