Position Summary:
Hendrick Technical Solutions is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and adaptable Marketing Coordinator & Administrative Assistant to support our growing defense and advanced manufacturing business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
The position will support marketing, communications, customer engagement, trade shows, social media, proposal development, executive and program scheduling, and general office administration. The successful candidate will help tell the HTS story while ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications
- Create and coordinate marketing materials, presentations, brochures, and product sheets.
- Assist with photography, video content, and event coverage.
- Maintain and update website content and marketing assets.
- Support development of customer success stories, press releases, and company announcements.
- Manage HTS social media accounts, including content scheduling, posting, and engagement.
- Coordinate branding efforts across all customer-facing materials.
- Prepare monthly program review reports for external customers and internal leadership.
Trade Shows & Events
- Assist with planning and execution of industry conferences, military demonstrations, customer visits, and company events.
- Coordinate travel logistics, registrations, shipping, and event materials.
- Maintain event calendars and support customer engagement activities.
- Help prepare briefing materials and executive talking points.
Administrative Support
- Manage calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for leadership.
- Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and action item tracking.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical files.
- Assist with purchase requests, expense reports, and vendor coordination.
- Support onboarding activities and office operations as needed.
Business Development & Proposal Support
- Assist with proposal formatting, document preparation, and submission coordination.
- Maintain customer contact databases and CRM records.
- Support government and commercial business development activities.
- Coordinate customer visit schedules and facility tours.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to get Real ID within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in field conditions at times.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
- Experience coordinating events or trade shows.
- Experience supporting government contracting, manufacturing, defense, or technology organizations.
- Photography, video editing, or content creation experience.

Travel Requirement:
- Approximately 10–20% for trade shows, customer visits, and company events.
This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
