Stellantis is seeking a Junior Assistant Chief Engineer to support the development of innovative automotive products within diesel engine programs.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to the achievement of key project targets including cost, timing, performance, fuel efficiency, emissions, and quality. You will be involved in cross-functional activities across the product development lifecycle in a dynamic and international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of product development activities, including hardware, validation, testing and design changes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, quality, purchasing and suppliers
- Assist in project documentation, tracking and reporting
- Contribute to risk analysis and follow-up of corrective actions
- Support technical reviews and validation activities
- Assist in managing engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote the sharing of best practices and lessons learned
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar
- 1 or 2 years' experience in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of internal combustion engines and automotive systems
- Understanding of product development processes is a plus
- Familiarity with quality standards and industrial processes is an advantage
- Fluent English and Italian (at least B2)
