Stellantis is seeking a motivated Junior Project Quality Engineer to join our Quality & Powertrain organization.
In this role, you will support quality management activities across complex projects, contributing from early development phases through product launch and initial production stages. You will work closely with experienced teams, gaining exposure to key quality processes within a dynamic automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of the Project Quality Plan throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Support quality convergence activities from early phases up to SOP + 6 months
- Assist in defining project quality objectives, including targets, forecasts and customer-related inputs
- Participate in the preparation of Design Assessments and quality sections of program milestone deliverables
- Apply and promote lessons learned from previous projects, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Support quality activities during industrialization, in collaboration with Industrial Quality and Customer Experience teams
- Contribute to milestone reviews, tracking action plans and monitoring deliverable maturity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, plants, suppliers and joint venture partners to ensure alignment on quality requirements
- Support issue and risk management, including root cause analysis and definition of corrective action plans
- Contribute to APQP/PPAP activities and quality management for secondary launches
- Support product and process quality assessments during serial life modifications
- Assist in the preparation of the Monthly Quality Reporting
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- Very good command of English and Italian (at least B2)
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality or Project Management within the automotive sector (relevant internships will also be considered)
- Basic knowledge of quality tools, problem-solving methodologies, technical drawing and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical mindset and solid communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams and manage interactions in a structured and collaborative environment
