The Electrical Systems Design Engineer is responsible for the development of electrical design solutions for complex industrial systems, supporting projects from the proposal phase through to final delivery, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the sales and proposal team during the bidding phase, analyzing customer specifications, estimating material costs and required labor resources, preparing technical documentation, developing and managing component lists, and ensuring continuous coordination and alignment with other engineering disciplines.
A degree or diploma in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Automation is required, along with a minimum of 3-4 years of relevant professional experience. Solid knowledge of European Directives and electrical standards is essential, as well as proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 and familiarity with SISTEMA tool for Performance Level (PL) calculations.
Strong personal skills, including dynamism, precision, and problem-solving attitude, are also required. Availability for short national business trips and occasional travel abroad is necessary.
Knowledge of SAP for component list (BOM) management, EPDM for document management, and AutoCAD for layout and technical drawings is desirable but not essential.
