What you'll do
You'll be responsible for development and design of powertrain components and systems for state-of-the-art ICE engines.
- Develop and design ICE powertrain components and systems for state-of-the-art engines
- Create and optimize 3D models and technical drawings from early concept studies all the way to assembly designs
- Coordinate simulations and analyses to ensure the functionality and reliability of powertrain systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary inhouse teams (e.g. with R&D, Calculation, Design, Testing, Application, Assembly QA, etc. teams) to evaluate, define and implement technical and logistical requirements and specifications
- Lead engine design projects and follow related work streams
- Take on component responsibility from design through to manufacturing and final assemblies
- Participate in design reviews and develop improvement proposals
What you need
You'll need a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification and at least 3-5 years of professional experience in automotive powertrain design.
