What you'll do
You'll be the contact person for all external authorities around the topic of logistics and foreign trade. You'll create monthly and annual reports for (customs) authorities. You'll monitor the hazardous goods regulations (according to ADR, IATA-DGR or IMDG). You'll regularly train all logistics employees on topics such as hazardous goods and customs clearance. You'll check the customs clearance of imports from third countries by the forwarders. You'll support the preparation and implementation of individual and specific transport solutions. You'll maintain master data.
What you need
You'll need a successful completed commercial education as a merchant (m/f/d) for forwarding and logistics services. You'll have a strong knowledge in the field of customs clearance (ideally knowledge of Carnet ATA) as well as hazardous goods. You'll have several years of experience in the fields of import and export (sea, air and road) desirable. You'll have a training as a hazardous goods officer desirable. You'll have a strong team spirit as well as high flexibility, resilience and the ability to achieve optimal results even under time pressure. You'll have very good English skills in word and writing.
