What you'll do
You'll be responsible for conceptualizing and designing composite components or assemblies, ensuring timely delivery within budget, and creating detailed specifications and designs, including necessary tooling and lay-up books.
- Undertake the concept scheming and designing of, structural and non-structural, composite components or assemblies
- Generate detailed specifications of various composite components as well as associated component testing
- Responsible for design and development of high-end race car components
- Definition of drawings, ply books and full documentation in English
- Developing the tooling, jigs and fixtures for component production, inspection and testing
What you need
You'll need a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering and high-level knowledge and relevant experience in motorsport parts layout and the design of high-performance components.

Why this matters
This role is part of our research and development and works motorsport team in Cologne, Germany. You'll be working closely as part of a team of designers, and be in charge of producing designs (including the respective tooling) and drawings as well as providing full documentation in English. An essential part of the functions is to ensure on-time delivery of projects within agreed cost limits.
