What you'll do
Assist in control software/physical model development and validation for a race car. Development and maintenance of HIL test system - Software & Calibration. Automation of test cases on the HIL system. Assist in HIL application and testing of control software and hardware. Participate in specifying test cases based on requirements, system behaviour models and robustness analysis. Developing innovative solutions in the field of model-based development for a hybrid/alternate propulsion powertrain. Version management and documentation of the results and models.
What you need
Min. Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering. At least 3 years of previous experience in Functional- / Physical model- development, SIL/MIL/HIL testing and application. Good understanding of a car and powertrain (ICE and hybrid) control. Strong knowledge on model based controls with Matlab/Simulink, Engine Management Systems and data analysis (Marelli or equivalent). Good understanding of debugging C codes. HIL Automatic testing with SimulinkRT (or similar) Experience from motorsport is considered as an advantage. Excellent communication skills, fluent English is compulsory, German speaking is a plus. Flexible approach to working hours and tasks is essential. Motivation and ability to manage and deliver tasks to meet established commitments.
