What you'll do

- Handle composite materials and follow established safety procedures
- Hand-laminate composite components to specifications provided by project engineers
- Prepare components for curing utilizing vacuum bagging procedures
- Prepare tooling patterns and moulds using chemical sealers and release systems
- Fabricate moulds from supplied patterns
- Follow build manuals and quality control processes
- Consult and resolve quality issues as they arise, in consultation with project engineers
What you need
To succeed in this role, you'll need hands-on experience with composite materials and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret basic instruction via detailed drawings/instructions
- First experience of working within a low volume vehicle production / motorsport build environment
- Experience of composite trimming, grinding, drilling to high standards
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
- Ability to work in a team as well as solo
- Flexible schedule to accommodate shift work if required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- An eye for detail and pride in making things by hand
