- Ensuring that the load is properly secured and adheres to transportation regulations, considering the high value and precision of the cargo.
- Regularly inspecting and maintaining the hauler (truck and trailer) to ensure it's in top working condition, as breakdowns could delay the team's arrival and preparations for race day.

Tire Technician Responsibilities
- Before the race, tire technicians are responsible for mounting the tires onto the rims and ensuring they are perfectly balanced for optimum car performance.
- During the race, the tire technician may help with the tire changes during pit stops. Tire technicians adjust and monitor the pressure in each tire and analyze the wear patterns of the tires. They log all relevant tire data, including pressure, temperature, and wear levels, and report this information to the race engineers and strategists.
- After the race, tire technicians examine the tires to gather data on wear, degradation, and how well the tire compound performed under race conditions. This information is crucial for refining strategy for future races and making adjustments to the car setup.
