You'll serve as a hands-on expert for customers, analyzing their product development requirements and providing recommendations to enhance performance metrics. You'll address application-specific design and simulation requirements using state-of-the-art electromagnetic simulation tools and platforms.- Develop and implement differentiating simulation solutions, integrating them into customer design workflows, and expanding your domain expertise.- Collaborate with Product Development to translate customer needs into new product features and participate in the testing of new releases.- Support Field and Digital Marketing teams by developing promotional materials, supporting events, and authoring conference presentations.- Utilize scripting and automation to streamline simulation workflows and improve productivity.- Lead professional service deliveries, conducting training classes, and contributing to customer success initiatives.## What you needTo succeed in this role, you'll need a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field. You'll have a minimum of 5 years (BS), 3 years (MS), or 0 years (PhD) of professional experience in an engineering software environment. You'll have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as Ansys Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell, or equivalent low-frequency electromagnetic finite element tools.- Expertise in optimization and design workflows for electric machines, including electromagnetic, thermal, and NVH analysis in high-tech sectors.- Knowledge of control integration and system modeling for e-motors and drivetrains.- Strong foundation in physics phenomena and simulation methods related to magnetic design, power loss, and efficiency.- Proficiency in scripting and workflow automation; Python experience highly preferred.- Logical problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fluent in English.## Why this mattersThis role will drive adoption of cutting-edge simulation technologies, strengthening Synopsys' reputation as a leader in engineering software solutions.
