What this role is and why it exists.This role is for a VP of AI Business Strategy & Execution at Synopsys. The company is looking for a visionary, entrepreneurial leader with a passion for building transformative AI businesses from the ground up.## What you'll doDefining and executing the business strategy for the New Ventures AI portfolio, establishing vision, roadmap, and commercialization plans for emerging products and solutions.- Develop and implement innovative pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies tailored to diverse AI offerings and market segments.- Partner with Finance, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to align monetization models with customer needs, compliance, and market trends.- Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to inform business development and growth initiatives.- Build and manage strategic relationships with key ecosystem partners—data providers, infrastructure, and distribution channels—to amplify reach and impact.- Lead joint go-to-market initiatives with partners, ensuring all agreements adhere to the highest standards of security, governance, and ethical practices.- Collaborate with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure global data protection and responsible AI practices are embedded in every product launch.- Present growth forecasts, business cases, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, driving consensus and action.## What you need- Master's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA strongly preferred).- Minimum 15 years' experience, including at least 3 years in large-scale new product monetization, business development, or strategic partnerships.- Demonstrated success in bringing multiple generations of AI products or solutions to market—ideation through launch.- Deep understanding of AI technologies, industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations.- Expertise in crafting and implementing innovative monetization models (subscription, tiered offerings, API licensing, etc.).- Experience in the semiconductor and/or EDA industry is highly desirable.- Advanced analytical, data-driven decision-making, and strategic planning skills.## Why this mattersThis role will shape Synopsys' New Ventures portfolio, driving innovation and maintaining our competitive edge in the global technology landscape.
