As a Production Process Specialist, at BMW Group Plant Debrecen you're a crucial part of our vision to revolutionize the way we think about cars.
What awaits you?
- Work environment – in a highly automated production line you will optimize processes in the production regarding quality, availability and production costs.
- Team – You work in a team with 3 colleagues but also separately (own department) and collaborate daily from other departments.
- Coordination – coordinating and supporting continuous improvement projects with the focus on quality and equipment availability including the development of new methods in the paint shop.
- Actions – Autonomously identifying potentials in the own area and initiates necessary actions.
- Work schedule – you are willing to work on-site during regular business hours. Remote work may be considered based on alignment with your line manager.
- Lean sytem -Developing a lean production system in the paint shop.
- KPI – Self-responsible tracking of relevant Key Performance Indicators. Initiating suitable containment and corrective actions in case to get back on target level.
What should you bring along?
- Education– engineering degree, with focus on mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering, engineering management, production, or equivalent.
- Work experience – experience in quality methods, process improvement and lean management positions in the industry, preferably in automotive production, planning or maintenance.
- Work schedule – you follow a standard business working hours and manage your tasks independently.
- Hard skills – you have a user-level application of Lean Manufacturing methods, also a thorough knowledge of process mapping (flowcharts, VSD, VSM, etc.).
- Soft skills – Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a flair for dealing with people and mediating in conflict situations. Self-initiative attitude and pronounced quality awareness.
- Language skills– fluency in written and oral communication skills in English AND Hungarian; German would be an advantage.
- Travelling - Willingness to travel in the BMW group network during the qualification program.
