As a Production Quality Specialist in the Energy Module Technology at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, you play a key role in ensuring that the energy module components meet perfect quality standards through meticulous preparation, processing, and component quality assurance.
What awaits you?
- Work Environment – You will be part of a highly automated production line equipped with multiple robotic cells. While some tasks will be performed in an office setting, most of your work will take place on the production floor, giving you hands-on involvement and direct interaction with the manufacturing processes.
- Team – You will lead and coordinate problem-solving efforts in close collaboration with process, maintenance, logistics, and industrial engineers. You will also work closely with other quality assurance engineers, production area managers, team leaders, technicians, and production employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Quality Assurance Process Oversight – You will ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with internal and external standards and regulations (ISO 9001; IATF).
- Problem Analysis and Corrective Actions – You will participate in the analysis of production defects, process deviations, machine or component issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. You will use key quality tools such as capability studies, process performance assessments, and Ishikawa diagrams.
- Production Support – You will prepare process approvals after corrections, repairs, or stoppages to enable fast and safe production restarts. During process design, you will consider quality, availability, and production cost factors. You will also support continuous improvement projects from a quality perspective
- Documentation and Knowledge Sharing – You will share best practices with other BMW Group international
What should you bring along?
- Education – You hold a degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical engineering, or another relevant technical field.
- Experience – You have at least 3 years of experience in quality assurance within a serial production environment.
- Work Schedule – The position follows standard office hours and is primarily on-site. Remote work may be possible based on agreement with your direct supervisor.
- Language Skills – You can communicate confidently in both Hungarian and English, in writing and speaking. German language skills are an advantage.
- Methodological Knowledge – You are familiar with quality and analytical tools such as 5Why, 8D, Ishikawa, SPC, Cp/Cpk, Pareto principle, FMEA, and other statistical or analytical techniques.
