This role is responsible for cutting and allocating various metallic materials while managing inventory to meet production requirements and uphold quality standards. It involves coordinating with internal teams to place orders, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure accurate tracking of material usage. The position collaborates closely with engineering and procurement to address material deviations, drive improvements, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency. Additionally, it oversees the implementation of best practices in material handling, storage, and record-keeping to support smooth and efficient operations.
· Cutting and allocation of various metallic materials
· Manage the inventory of metallic materials, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards
· Coordinate with internal teams to place orders and maintain optimal stock levels
· Maintain accurate records of material usage and stock levels, optimizing inventory for production needs
· Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to identify material deviations and improvements
· Implement and maintain best practices for material handling and storage procedures
· Implement and maintain accurate record-keeping for all materials and components
· Identify potential areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements in material usage

What do you need to bring to the team?
· Proven experience in materials management or logistics within a manufacturing or engineering environment
· Strong understanding of inventory control processes
· Familiarity with machining processes and associated materials
· Strong knowledge of metallic material properties, processing, and applications
· Experience with quality assurance and testing methodologies for materials
· Strong organizational skills and experience with inventory management systems
· Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams
· Ability to analyze data and generate reports related to materials usage
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Commitment to safety and quality assurance practices
· Strong communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams
