The Role:
As a Manufacturing Process Supervisor at GM Egypt, you will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing operations. You will lead a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement best practices to meet production targets and maintain GM's high standards.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and supervise a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Implement and enforce GM's Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles to standardize processes and drive operational excellence.
* Utilize Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to provide input during product development, optimizing designs for efficient production.
* Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes through the application of Process Engineering methodologies.
* Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential risks and implement preventative measures to ensure product quality and process reliability.
* Implement and maintain Lockout Tagout procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Oversee the effective use and programming of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems to control and monitor production equipment.
* Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify and eliminate waste, improving process flow and efficiency.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions to achieve production goals and improve overall manufacturing performance.
* Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety and quality protocols.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and logistics, to resolve production issues and support new product launches.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualification)
* 6 ~ 8 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role, preferably within the automotive industry.
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Power, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Power).
* Strong understanding and practical application of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
* In-depth knowledge of the Global Manufacturing System (GMS) and its implementation.
* Proficiency in Human Machine Interface (HMI) operation and troubleshooting.
* Demonstrated expertise in Lockout Tagout procedures and workplace safety.
* Exceptional People Management skills with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
* Solid background in Process Engineering, including process optimization and root cause analysis.
* Experience conducting Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
* Proficiency in Value Stream Mapping (VSM) techniques for process improvement.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels.
