We work at the interface between vehicle development and sales and are also connected to all other areas of the company. We enable the global dealer organization to service, repair, and maintain Porsche vehicles optimally and quickly. The focus of your internship will be on helping to develop and document the best repair and service solutions, using the right spare parts and customized tools, whether digitally or in person – always with the goal of optimizing workshop visits for our customers' vehicles. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to experience our vehicles and the Porsche spirit firsthand.
You will gain comprehensive insights behind the scenes at Porsche and, depending on the focus of your studies, you can support us in the following areas within Technical Aftersales:
Product Influence:
Participation in projects to develop technical service concepts
Support in representing service interests in the product development process and in cross-brand collaboration
Technical Editing for Workshop and Customer Media:
Support in the creation and further development of workshop literature (repair manuals, etc.)
Participation in the creation of customer literature (operating instructions, etc.)
Vehicle Diagnostics:
Participation in the creation of concepts and methods for vehicle diagnostics
Support in the specification of diagnostic processes and troubleshooting strategies
Workshop Equipment:
Participation in the development of special tools and workshop equipment for the dealer organization
Assistance in the creation of CAD models and support in the preparation of technical documentation and market information
Spare Parts Range:
Support in coordinating the necessary scope regarding the spare parts and Replacement parts offering
Assistance in improving and further developing the spare parts catalog
Start-up and test management:
Participation in test management, where the interaction of all relevant aftersales departments is tested prior to the market launch of new vehicle models with the goal of achieving high service quality
Participation in start-up management to ensure international service and support readiness during the market launch of new vehicle models and technology highlights (e.g., drive and high-voltage technology, smart mobility, racing)
Projects and platform management as well as international insurance classification:
Participation in the overarching strategy of the technical service
Support in coordination regarding the global insurance classification of vehicles
Cross-cutting tasks:
Assistance in the preparation of presentations and decision-making documents
Support in the development of process analyses and benchmarks
Participation in the testing of concept developments on test and production vehicles
Support in interface work and communication with the international trade organization
Participation in strategy and future projects with a focus on technical Aftersales
