Tasks
The Validation of Complete Vehicle Properties & Simulation department manages the entire physical and virtual prototype process chain, from the concept phase through planning and construction to vehicle testing during series development.
Aerodynamics department:
This department develops the basic aerodynamic design of our sports cars. We use state-of-the-art wind tunnels and simulation methods (CFD). This also includes functional development within the complete vehicle, which deals with the integration of all control functions for active systems on the vehicle.
Aeroacoustics department:
This department develops the aeroacoustics of our vehicles. We use modern and complex measurement technology in wind tunnels and road tests and apply special simulation methods (CAA).
NVH department (Traffic Noise, Structural Dynamics & NVH Test Benches):
The focus here is on the development of physical vehicle properties in the area of ??vibration technology and acoustics at the complete vehicle level.
During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the focus of your studies, support us in the following activities, for example:
Collaboration in the handling of complex measurement systems and the application of measurement sensors
Support in the analysis and plausibility check of test results on the test bench and in the vehicle
Assistance in the coordination of testing and setup activities
Support in the preparation of overviews and documentation
Aerodynamics/Aeroacoustics:
Support in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of CFD simulations as well as aerodynamic and aeroacoustic tests in the wind tunnel
NVH: Vibration and acoustic measurement technology
