Every new Porsche sets standards in its segment. Achieving this goal requires the selection of outstanding service providers and suppliers, the timely delivery of parts and components, and compliance with cost targets, deadlines, and the highest quality standards. During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world and, depending on the focus of your studies, support us in one of the following areas:
General procurement of construction services and operating resources, services, and strategy and service
Procurement of energy, infotainment, and connect systems (e.g., battery systems, climate control systems, on-board networks, navigation, and software)
Procurement of driving systems, combustion engine and hybrid drive systems (e.g., chassis components, exhaust systems, engine components, transmissions, electric drives, wheels, and tires)
Procurement of body systems (interior and exterior, e.g., outer skin and molded metal parts, add-on parts, paints and finishes, occupant safety, lighting and vision systems, seats and leather, cockpit, and trim parts)
Procurement of original parts for the after-sales department
In one of the above-mentioned areas, you will support us in the following areas, for example:
Preparation of inquiries, preparation of bid comparisons and cost analyses, and preparation of award decisions
Support in the coordination tasks of Group Procurement
Participation in supplier management
Cross-brand development of material group strategies within the Group
Implementation of global procurement planning
Preparation of tender documents for presentation to decision-making bodies
Development and optimization of processes
Commercial evaluation of component changes
Conducting research and preparing the results for presentations
Participation in a variety of project tasks
