We're searching for a detail-oriented and hands-on Electronics Technician to support our racing operations by building, modifying, and maintaining precision electrical systems in high-performance race cars and support equipment.
As an Electronics Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Accurately build precision electrical wiring harnesses and circuits to meet design specifications.
Collaborate closely with the Lead Electronics Technician and Engineers to ensure optimal results.
Analyze and apply manufacturer specifications for a wide range of electrical components.
Troubleshoot wiring and electrical issues based on performance data from track events.
Perform rigorous quality control checks to ensure all components meet exact standards.
Communicate openly with team managers, engineers, vendors, and consultants to resolve issues and optimize performance.
Maintain clear and accurate records of changes to electrical components and wiring strategies.
Track part serial numbers using spreadsheets and databases to ensure full traceability.
Meet tight deadlines for race car preparation without compromising on quality.
Safely operate tools and equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and reporting hazards.
Properly use and care for all company-issued property including uniforms, tools, and electronic devices.
Represent the team and our sponsors professionally at all times, including during shop tours and events.
Keep your work area organized and assist team members with additional duties as needed.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Basic electrical knowledge (military or aviation experience is a plus)
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and crimping techniques.
Training will be provided on required specialty tools and equipment
Strong attention to detail
