The Escapade Bar Assistant will play a vital and crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the bar. They will work closely with bartenders and the bar manager to ensure that all aspects of service are run effectively, from preparing and cleaning glassware to restocking supplies and assisting guests as needed.

Key Responsibilities
To create and implement a best-in-class and award-winning bar service and guest experience through:
- Guest Assistance: Greet customers warmly and assist in providing a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. Take drink orders and serve beverages to guests with an inviting and professional attitude to create a memorable experience.
- Bar Preparation: Assist in setting up the bar area before service, including restocking supplies, garnishes and glassware. Ensure the bar area is clean, organised and well-maintained. Assist bartenders to ensure exceptional service and unique drinks are provided to our guests.
- Bar Maintenance: Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Following recipes and standards to ensure exceptional service is provided. Set up the bar area, ensuring cleanliness and organisation, and perform regular maintenance tasks during service. Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Stock and Inventory Management: Take and process guests orders, whether for drinks or food items. Relay orders to the kitchen staff and bartenders promptly. Serve food and drinks to guests as required. Assist in monitoring and managing bar inventory, including restocking beverages, supplies and glassware. Report any shortages or issues to the bar manager.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with the Bar Manager, bar staff, Restaurant Manager and floor staff to maintain a smoothly operating bar. Work closely with the bar team to maintain standards and expectations from our guests.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain bar cleanliness, ensuring all equipment and glassware are properly cleaned and sanitized. Report any safety or security concerns to the Bar Manager and assist in enforcing safety measures.
- Sustainability: To promote, implant and act with the sustainability initiatives as directed by Escapade Silverstone

Performance will be checked against the following:
- Detailed objectives will be set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or any other lifestyle/ distinctive brand is desirable but not required
- A strong, yet positive guest service style
- Organized and ability to work within the team or on their own
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A good command of the English language is desirable. Additional languages are advantageous.
- Maintains impeccable personal grooming standards while radiating an aura of elegance and refinement
- Full clean UK driving licence is desirable
