We're looking for a CAD PLM Support Engineer to facilitate and enhance our primary Design and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems at Red Bull Technology.
The successful candidate will offer hands-on technical support and guidance for all essential design tools and applications used by the design and electronics teams.
Core Responsibilities:
- Working with the PLM team and business stakeholders to target, optimise, and deploy efficient solutions within current workflows.
- Assist engineers with design-based challenges - to define best practice processes and workflows.
- Provide/facilitate the development of targeted user training, mentoring, and reference material.
- To assess and champion new and existing capabilities within business applications that enhance end user efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date CAD/PLM developments and support within the business IT management tools.
Essential Competencies:
- In-depth Industry experience as an end user of Siemens NX CAD.
- Strong technical understanding of geometric modelling and drawing standards.
- Ability to quickly and effectively triage and problem solve user issues.
- Excellent IT and Windows PC literacy.
- Experience in compiling comprehensive technical documentation and end user guides.
- User support and training experience.
Advantageous Competencies:
- Experience and knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter PLM system.
- Previous experience providing support, training and mentoring for NX CAD.
- Installation and configuration of NX CAD.
- Understanding of CAE tools, Motion Simulation, Electronics Design, and NX FE tools.
- Industry experience within the broader suite of Siemens engineering applications.
- IT system support skills and administration tools and applications.
