The Test and Development group have a role involving evaluation of vehicle components and systems to ensure on-track car performance is reliable and optimised. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of R&D activities in the factory, at external facilities, and trackside. Their work will feed into Trackside, Simulation, Controls and Electronic Systems groups.
Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for rig testing, including full car dyno running, suspension K&C data collection, 4 post testing, mechanical and electronic testing of suspension and car components
Organise activities with external facilities and expand in-house capabilities
Report on testing results and ensure the information is fed into the activities of simulation, design, and control groups
Manage and maintain test equipment, facilities, and resources to ensure their proper functioning and availability
Support track test activities with data analysis and planning
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience as an engineer in the motorsport industry across a wide range of activities

Strong knowledge of motorsport vehicle mechanical and electronic systems

Proficiency in using testing equipment and software

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and relate it to performance improvement opportunities
